The Kleinwalsertal is an Austrian high mountain valley which is located close to the border with Germany, and with its three towns of Riezlern, Hirschegg and Mittelberg is situated at an altitude of 1,100 to 1,250 meters on the northern edge of the Alps.

The bike circuit in Hirschegg-Au is ideal for beginners to get a feeling for the bike. After this innumerable kilometres can be explored alone or in a group with a local and experienced bike guide.
You can save yourself some of the altitude on the tours with the bike transport on the Zaferna lift, the Heuberg arena and the Söllereck.
In winter the “snow hole Kleinwalsertal” offers the guest snow-covered winter landscapes surrounded by a picturesque mountain panorama.

The 128 kilometres of piste in the two-country ski region are extremely varied and diverse. Family slopes, challenging black pistes and fantastic powder snow slopes make every winter sportsperson’s heart beat faster. Four cross-country skiing trails with a total length of 42 km invite you to skate or enjoy classical cross-country skiing. One of the cross-country skiing trails runs directly past the hotel.
Fun in the children’s ski course is guaranteed for our younger guests, and the excellently prepared Crystal Ground Snow Park awaits all freestylers and those who would like to become freestylers.
For wintery mountain hiking the Kleinwalsertal also has manifold highlights ready: Over 50 km of paths in the Kleinwalsertal offer freedom for relaxed or active winter hiking. Most paths are found in the valley and in the side valleys up to 1400m.
For high- altitude hiking there are tours in the Schwarzwassertal (1620 m), to Söllereck (1358 m) and the round hike on the Gottesacker at an altitude of 2000 m.
